Unexpected encounter

This Autumn I spent a lot of time photographing Pileated Woodpeckers getting bugs from trees in the local woods. I'd been photographing for around half hour one afternoon, when the woodpeckers eventually flew off, I turned to leave the area and this beautiful Whitetail buck was standing right behind me, I have no idea how long he'd been there watching me and hadn't hear a sound when he arrived. I was taken aback and we looked at each other for a few minutes, I raised my camera to take a shot and he raised a leg, telling me it was time I left. I stepped out of the way and the Deer walked past me and off into the woods.
